BioWare’s Casey Hudson has said that even with Mass Effect 2 being an RPG – and remaining true to the genre – the action crowd will be pleased with the sequel due to the implementation of “state of the art shooting”.“When it comes to the shooter quality of the game there are things that a really experienced shooter is looking for,” Hudson told Kotaku. “The feel, the precision, things like that, so we made sure those things are there as well.“We do have third-person shooter combat. That was a big thrust, including that. That world continues to evolve with games like (Modern Warfare 2). We need to put Mass Effect...

Nintendo has confirmed that sales for the Wii has jumped by 60% for Q4, also stating that it was the best-selling home console of last week. The company also said it was pleased with how the black Wii, which was released two weeks ago, was performing at retail, with sales doubling week-on-week. “Of course it would be wrong to attribute all of this to Black Wii as we’re all starting to see a natural peak season uplift on all hardware,” said Nintendo’s Rob Lowe. “But we have been really pleased with Wii’s performance over the last couple of weeks and the new Black Wii has certainly contributed to that. 360 firmware update goes live
Written by Hatchet 1984    Wednesday, 23 September 2009 10:41    PDF Print E-mail

Microsoft’s put live a promised 360 firmware upgrade. Sign into Live now and you’ll be prompted to download it. There were some reported issues with connecting to Live after applying the update, but these have now been resolved. The update’s a preparatory thing for Twitter, Facebook and Last.fm. No new features are included.

So there you have it, soon you will be able to Twit, listen to radio and even post on facebook, great huh? Nah not really, all 3 options are worthless to me, that is why I have a computer so I could do all those things.

What I don't get is why Microsoft don't just put up a web browser so gamers can do more then just twit, post and listen to music?
